With a second clutch soon to be on the sands, we are in need of another wingletmaster. This is also a staff application. These will be open until the 29th. Then the staff will deliberate and select the new wingletmaster. We may end up selecting two. One will act as an assistant until another class occurs. We may also select another candidatemaster to assist Ts'kal.
At this time, female greenriders are slightly preferred, since we already have the males well represented in the masters. However, all applications will be considered based on experience and reasoning first.

Roleplaying Experience: I hate this question, because it makes me feel really, really old. I think around eight years. Staff Experience: Lots, I’ve been a moderator for many, many sites, both proboards and invisionfree, and I have administrated. I was also a roleplay mod on dragonadopters.com/ for around four or five months. So, I’ve had a lot of staff experience.
Why You Deserve This Position: I feel that I have been a dedicated and thoughtful member of GS since I joined, and I also believe that I have the experience to be a great addition to the staff. I also am very invested in the progress of the site, so I feel that my investment will make me a more dedicated staff member.
Character: Ros’n Simourv: Wegmeph Why They Would Get This Position: Well, Ros’n is currently the Chydyn Watch Lieutenant, so she is used to having responsibility. While she, herself, does not always follow orders well, Wegmeph, her simourv is very dedicated to performing all the right actions at the right time, so he keeps her in line and makes her a responsible and useful member of the Eyrie.
And Ros’n herself, is very personable, so she will be very friendly and warm to either the Winglets or the Candidates. She is very bubbly and sweet, and she gets along with very well.
Candidate/Winglet/Both: Either, although Ros’n would prefer being the candidate master, I would rather her be the winglet master. Right now, she has an unusual aversion to babies, which she needs to get over, and which she would abandon in order to perform her duties. And the next Winglet class will be Wegmeph’s, so she’ll be especially invested in those simourvs. (Not that she won’t be good with any of the classes which she teaches.)

Name: Fox
Roleplaying Experience: Seven years, give or take. Staff Experience: I've been an administrator for two sites, both of my own making, and I've been a moderator on several Harry Potter sites on both proboards and invisionfree.
Why You Deserve This Position: I think thus far I've been an active and dedicated member of this site, and with luck and perseverance that should not change. I feel that I can be of great help to the existing staff members, because I've had experience managing boards prior to this and I do well with responsibility. If I were to get the position, I feel that I would make a dedicated, responsible staff member.
Character: K'ean Simourv: Seronaph
Why They Would Get This Position: K'ean is the Itnala Watch Lieutenant, which means that he can cope with responsibility. In actuality, he does more than cope; he thrives on it, and is a stickler for rules as well as the type of person who is straight as an arrow and not likely to veer. Despite his rather stand-offish personality, he would likely be a very informative teacher, though he would have a tendency to be more businesslike than friendly. He would take his job very seriously.
Seronaph, too, would be reasonably enthusiastic about the position, partly because he secretly likes the idea of moulding young minds into possible partners-in-crime. But honestly, they'd be a pretty no-nonsense pair either way.
Candidate/Winglet/Both: Either. K'ean (and Seronaph) would prefer to be the wingletmaster, but seeing as you already have K'huna and Canph, he'd do just as well as candidatemaster. He is very interested in the young simourvs and their bondeds at the moment, but he might make an interesting contrast to Ts'kal if he was selected to assist him in teaching the candidates.

Name: Killy
Roleplaying Experience: I'm really not sure anymore. It's probably getting close to 10 years? Although a lot of that was more chat-based than forums. Staff Experience: Nothing really notable. I've done a bit of world-building for rp-sites, although nothing recent.
Why You Deserve This Position: I'd like to help flesh out the world we've got here (and I intend to try through the flora and fauna thread either way). I think I've been fairly active - most things I try to get on right away, and I've been here nearly from the get-go.
Character: A're Simourv: Muraaph
Why They Would Get This Position: A're already works near entirely within the Eyrie, it probably wouldn't even interfere much with his current post as night-watch (although, with the coming influx of young-adult simourv needing posts, I imagine it would be easy enough finding a replacement for him). Unlike the other applicants, 'though, he isn't really used to being in a position of authority. For all that he is kind lazy when he can get away with it, he's friendly and personable enough. The added responsibility might also beat some of the laziness out of him.
Muraaph would probably be incredibly excited by the prospect of interacting with young simourv or candidates on a daily basis, also.
Candidate/Winglet/Both: Either or. I think if he were given the choice, he would rather deal with candidates; Muraaph would very much want to deal with the winglet pairs. She'd love being able to show the babies the ropes.
