When they arrived at the entrance he bent over and panted. He was used to running, but not with his large pack. He recovered his breath and stood. This was the home of the riders and simourvs. He was bound to encounter them, but he hoped that it would be pleasant, that he wouldn’t have to crack any skulls. “So, where to now?” He has set his pack on the ground, relieved of his burden, he stretched and looked around again.
He briefly wondered what it would be like to be a candidate, chores probably, someone had to keep up the eyire, and from experience the newest people would do that. His chances of being picked were slim, he would probably just return to Itnala, close his business, and continue leading the boring life of a fisherman. Not something he looked forward to. “So, you live here all the time? Whats it like being a candidate?”

" She declared spritely, her eyes sparkling. She was home now, and nothing could stop her from actually entering it. " But beware, the Eyrie is different than the towns you've visited before." Lower, she said, " I can't believe you haven't seen simourv!" She took his hand then, unabashedly, and led him inside the great gate. The inside of the Eyrie looked almost like the outside except now the two travelers were surrounded by walls on every side. Olivia grinned at Nar as she led him onward, to where travelers stayed the night, " I've lived here for a year or so now. Only been a candidate for a few days. Imagine that, a few days and already people know me!" Except people had always known her, she was just... being funny like that. " I'm taking you to the traveler's quarters. You'll find that it's really nice, and you can be on your way in the mornings without having to dirsupt anyone!" She frowned then, and thought about what she'd just said, " Not like... not like you'd disrupt anyone. I didn't mean it like that, promise." She smiled at him, and they entered a room wit cots all lined up in rows. " There you are!" She let go of his hand then, because they were at the end of where Olivia wanted to put him. " Uhm, Nar, I know you said you may possibly want to become a candidate, but, I wanna know, would you really want to, or were you just saying so 'cause I'm one?" [/blockquote][/ul]

He let himself be guided by Olivia as she led him inside of the eyrie. She knew where she was going, he on the other hand hadn’t the faintest clue. He let his gaze wander around, noting the different parts of the eyrie, the high walls, pockmarked by caves of different sizes. They finally arrived at the travelers quarters, and when she released his hand he set his bag next to a bunk. “No, Im not completely sure, ill only really know when the time comes, but I think I would accept, to become a candidate. But I doubt ill get the chance ya know?” He turned and inspected his bunk, then turned back to Olivia. “Thanks for, you know, bringing me here.” He returned to getting ready for bed.
The next morning, he would rise with the sun and leave. He would return to Itnala and the boring life of a fisherman. Even he couldn’t deny it, deep inside he longed to be a candidate, and maybe even a rider. He thought he knew how the rest of his life would go, he would have no clue what would happen next however.

” She said shortly, and waved after smiling. Then she turned and walked away. It was like she was leaving her family again, this feeling, but she didn’t know why. Maybe it was because Narhpis had actually spoken to her, or maybe because she seriously considered him her friend. Whatever the case, Olivia’s stomach clenched as she strode out and toward her bunk, above Teagan’s bunk in the candidate quarters. She was tired… Finito![/ul][/blockquote]
