I'd love to thread Silas with Am at some point, too, though unless she meets him pre-search when he's in Eyrie, I doubt he'd try and sell her anything. Play a little harmless prank on her, maybe. We could always have them meet pre-search, of course. ;]

Ri'ley has a pretty valid reason to interact with Silas, since soon, he's going to need more medical supplies, and despite the fact that he desperately needs pants by this point, his shopping excursion is probably not going to happen until Dionyph can fly, mostly because Ri'ley absolutely refuses to leave the hatchling for any period of time.

SOOOOOOOO, Ri'ley is going to have to buy stuff from Silas. And Ri'ley is not going to be very nice to Silas, because he's going to be peeved that he can't get what he wants, and that he has to settle for inferior goods. And, Ri'ley knows enough about the products he needs, that if Silas tried to sell him something useless, Ri'ley would know. And Ri'ley dislikes dishonesty, so if Ri'ley realized that Silas was running a con along side of the rest of his wares, Ri'ley would be--disapproving, to say the least. (Dionyph might even be more upset, and he's getting pretty big...)

I was thinking that perhaps Silas could be rather unaware of Ri'ley's former profession, and try to sell him some useless tonic or whatnot, and Ri'ley could get his panties in a wad about it? And then explain that he actually knows what he needs, because he's a surgeon and not an idiot? And then we can go from there. Something along those lines. I want to roleplay RAWR Dio.

I LOVE THAT IDEA SO MUCH. Silas can be all wheedling and convincing, not knowing that the person he's trying to pitch that powdered Chydyn nut to is a surgeon and actually aware of what he's buying. xD And when Ri'ley notifies him, he will not be amused. I think it could end up with Silas actually disliking Ri'ley, though it won't stop him from selling him what he wants and possibly offering to order in what he doesn't already have. Business is still business. But he won't forget Ri'ley's attitude, no sir. xD And Ri'ley could possibly have dislike for the fact that Silas's cat has free reign of the shop. So unhygienic.

Of course, Silas might possibly be intimidated by RAWR Dio, but that intimidation might not last if Dio displays his disapproval, because really, whose business is it of theirs? Goodness, and when Silas gets searched as a candidate... He'll be free to bug Ri'ley AS OFTEN AS HE WANTS because suffice to say that he will. Bug him. A lot. It's kind of like payback.

I can imagine Ri'ley like being super obsessed with the idea that there was cat hair in his salve or something annoying like that.

I bet Kat pretty much KNOWS what I am about to suggest. So yeah, Silas and Ama are candidates right. So I guess they talk right. Then the subject of Ri'ley comes up right. She can be like he's so overprotective right. Then perhaps they can have a romantic relationship of some sorts. Doesn't have to be too serious. That's up to you. Personally, I would think it would funny if Silas seduces Ama to piss Ri'ley off, but Ama goes along for the same reason. So it would be kind of fake, perhaps Silas doing some conning. Despite being fake, Ama might doing a little falling in love and REST IS UP TO YOU.

Hmm... So yes, I think this might be doable. I guess they can get to talking and flirting a bit and stuff, but I would point out that Silas isn't the type to try and seduce someone (well, unless he's drunk) but... if it's a mutual thing then he would have no problems. And hey, Ama's a pretty girl; it'd be just a bonus that she's the sister of that surgeon with the stick-up-his-- erhem. Yeah.

Oh, we are quite evil. It is possible for them to actually meet after the feast, drunk but not too drunk. This isn't necessary, me thinks since they can just meet in the barracks any time. Dunno how they're feelings about Ri'ley will come up, but it WILL. I really did not expect any seduction because I doubt it is needed. Flirting is the best way. But yeah, referring to Ama growing a crush, this will take a while. She's always careful when it comes to that stuff, so she won't proclaim it. I think a most interesting part will be when Ama finally forgives Ri'ley. Then we shall fun figuring that out.
