Right, so, I've been procrastinating studying for my final by digging through T.V. Tropes (which is never a good idea.) And I was like--dude, we could totally have a discussion about this. So, I ask GS, what about your characters. What tropes do they embody? Or at least sound kind of like? People can analyze anyone, I think, even characters your dropping. I don't know. It was a random idea. And of course, feel free to post ones for other people's characters as well.
I am of course talking about things from this website: tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/HomePage
Anyway, I'll start.
Ri'ley is totally some mix of:
Genius Bruiser, Although only really because of his size, because I think GB are usually the brawn of your groups, and Ri'ley's still stuck as... The Combat Medic, he suffers from Honor before Reason as well as Big Brother Instinct which might actually be more of Knight Templar Big Brother. He also tends to speak with Sesquipedalian Loquaciousness (Which I guess is actually more Dionyph.) and is definitely a Stoic except when he's not.
Meanwhile, Sly also has a bit of the Big Brother Instinct Big Brother Instinct and is a Jerk with a Heart of Gold because of his (arguably) Dark and Troubled Past which in turn attracts him to Anything that Moves and makes him a Handsome Lech which is fine, because, he's a Charmer and, All Girls want Bad Boys. Furthermore, he's a Berserker which will very likely eventually evolve into being A Blood Knight.
I may do others later. -shrug- And clearly, not all of these fit super, super well, but I thought they were fitting.
Anddddddd..it's conversation!
