G'len of Black Alianph
Senior Commander. Northern Sweep Captain. Search Rider. Scientist from Sayaie.

[/b] G'len is a nerdy sort of guy, very much the scientist he was raised by his parents to be. He's obsessed with studying koxi and simourv alike, and he'll stop at nothing to find an intelligent solution to the problem with the xymokoxi. Until then, he and Alianph fight to protect their family. While normally a very awkward sort of fellow, his position as Commander and Sweep Captain have refined his talents for conversation, somewhat, and he has developed an easy-going attitude when it comes to leading a squad. Not that he should be taken lightly... much like the black he rides, he expects any direct order he gives to be carried out swiftly and efficiently. He holds no very close friends, and even less enemies, and even less romantic interests than that. While he and Ro'za get along fairly well, they hold no real romantic ties and their relationship is a very professional one, especially since they're both a couple of the biggest workaholics the Eyrie's ever seen. Still, G'len's a family man, and even with his busy schedule he tries to find time to catch up with his brother and mother back in Sayaie.[/ul]

[/b] Alianph is a gentleman and a sort of leaderly lion. He's a relatively laid-back black, and while he expects his orders to be followed when he gives them he tends not to worry too much. When it comes to the well-being of his now very extended family, though, he's a fierce protector and is not afraid to fight for his with beak and claw. He in particular has a soft spot for his green sisters and enjoys spending time with them as well as any of his siblings. While he appreciates his red brothers, he hasn't figured out how to deal with them yet, and tends to leave them alone for the most part.

the plotting. Although I have something planned in the wings for G'len's obsessive life-goal, I would like to have something else that I can do with him. He needs... friends. People who are willing or capable of slipping through the nerd barrier and getting him to stop acting like such a robot. Enemies are fine, too, although G'len is more apt to not notice/ignore them. Also, I've entertained the idea of having him develop a slight crush on one of the younger female riders, but not knowing what to do with it. Alas, I think this might not be in the cards for him, though. If you've any ideas, though, let me know, for sure![/ul]


E'an of Blue Kaslimeph
Southern Sweep Lieutenant. Alpha Graduate. Guard from Chydyn.

[/b] While E'an knew all her life she wanted to be a guard... she's really not the perfect picture of one. Her vices added up in her youth, and she loves a good party with alcohol and the possibility of lovemaking. While undeniably loyal, she's an odd sort with a morbid personality with a slow sort of speech and a "rough around the edges" feel that takes getting used to. Still, she's a steadfast friend that is slow to anger and savors whatever emotional connections she has with people... not that she would ever say it outright. Usually offensively honest, there are some parts of her psyche she won't admit to just anyone. Sometimes she's the life of the party, with a childlike giggle and a love of simplicity (and ale)... and other times she can be a not-so-silent philosopher seeking answers to the question of humanity.[/ul]

[/b] Kaslimeph is serious. Period. He takes his responsibilities seriously and tries to go above and beyond the call of duty to perform at utmost perfection. Yet, he's also a bit of a hot-head. His confidence and general haughty demeanor mean that he doesn't take criticism all that well... nor does he always understand the quality of a joke or sarcasm (although he's quick enough to use it himself). He's one of the largest blues, and well aware of this fact as he isn't afraid to "throw his weight around" so to speak. Yet, for all the blind confidence in his own abilities, he can act recklessly and will sometimes charge head-first into things without thought to consequence or repercussion. Perhaps this is something he and his rider share equally.

the plotting. While E'an has Sly to thread with, and their slightly complicated relationship following a one-night-stand, I'd love for her to get into a sort of group with her friends. She's a social creature, and I think being without a large group to socialize with more than just lessons has been bad for her. Maybe the right people could get her to tone down the less attractive sides of her life? Probably not, but they could try! Also, E'an's personality naturally calls for enemies, and I'd love some of those too. And any possible one-night-stands or lesbian love triangles or whatever you have in mind is fine by me![/ul]


Fe'ra of Green Liliph
Itnala Watch Guardrider. Apprentice Hunter/Baker from Chydyn.

[/b] Fe'ra is a normal teen, for the most part. She's chatty and loves gossip and loves even more to meet new people and make new friends. While she's one of the youngest out of the pioneer riders, it doesn't seem to bother her. Matters of rank are of little importance to her. Having all but grown up in Eyrie life with a simourv at her side, she's also impossible to embarrass. Nakedness, flights, and seemingly awkward social situations of the sort are shrugged off with a smile. While she's homosexual, she's had no opportunity to develop this part of her psyche since all of Liliph's partners' riders have been of the male sort. Perhaps it hasn't crossed her mind that her decision of preference in a rider might sway Liliph's decisions in flight, but she's just beared the responsibility as just part of being a rider. When on watch she has a tendency to daydream, as girls her age often do, but when koxi attack she and Liliph charge as the ultimate speedy attackers with guerrilla warfare tactics.[/ul]

[/b] Liliph all but out-talks her rider, which is a hard thing to do considering she's bonded to a still maturing teenage rider. Her love for gossip is also quite beyond her rider's, as she will even make up gossip if there is none to be heard. She's a storyteller, loving to form scenarios in her head, and this has lead naturally to being a somewhat pathological liar. This, of course, would get her into trouble... should anyone catch her at it. She also tries her claw at philosophy, although most of the time what she says is completely ignorant and silly. Mostly, however, she's all the flirtatious and capricious green that her feathers design her to be. She pines after male attention, jealous particularly when another green has gained the attention she feels is rightly hers.

the plotting. Fe'ra has been sort of neglected by me, for the most part, which is incomprehensibly sad. She needs lots of friends and people to gossip about! Already her and Liliph have plenty of people that aren't so fond of them. If anyone wants to try their hand at getting Fe'ra to explore her homosexual nature, they're free to take a whack at it... although Fe'ra still acts very much like a young schoolgirl about stuff like that. ALSO, the Liliph/Niataph/Shovaph thing totally needs to happen. Because I said so. And I think it'd be glorious. Oh... and B'oone is her big-bad older brother-ish and she's friends with Ros'n although they haven't talked in a long time. Sadness. AND SHE NEEDS TO BE FRIENDS WITH BR'AN. Because I said so.[/ul]


H'ton of Blue Norloph
Charlie Winglet. Tanner from Itnala. Saddler for the Eyrie.

[/b] H'ton, before impressing to Blue Norloph, was very much a womanizer and a flirt. Not that he isn't still... but perhaps he is less aloud to be. He loves his beautiful women, and the occasional beautiful man, and it's been said that every woman he's laid eyes he's fallen head over heels for at least that moment in time. He's a social creature, loving to converse with all ages and groups, and he's relatively down to Earth despite his optimistic attitude. Forever moving forward, he dwells not on the past and does his best not to let it catch up with him. Yet, as frivolous as he seems to be on a daily basis, he's a hard worker and once he sets his mind to something pursues it with a dangerous determination.[/ul]

[/b] Norloph didn't impress right away, not finding his rider on the sands before him. However, it didn't bother him as much as it might another simourv--he's a mama's boy through and through and his extra time with Eceph was taken with happiness. He's equally happy to have found his rider now, though, although it was nice to wander about to Eyrie to his wild curiosity's whim. Still growing, Norloph's personality is sort of fluid at the moment, but he's definitely one of the more obediant and content blues that likes making his mama and his rider happy.

the plotting. H'ton is going to have lovely plottings with Sly and S'ara, but that doesn't mean he doesn't need other plots! Friends, love interests for him to pursue, and those who aren't too fond of him are desired. Pretty much I'm up for anything, as he's my new boy.[/ul]

Lanika was actually born far south of Sayaie to a simple fisherman and his wife (whose mother was a talented musician that lived in Sayaie until shortly after Lanika's birth)... and while she did spend some time in the actual city, she traveled a lot and generally thought the farther away she could get from her family the better. She was your basic "starving musician" that also did odd jobs on the side to try to support herself. However, there is quite a chance that they have met! And if they met, I'm sure Lanika would get along well with her. She might have even been sort of mothering/mentoring to Alexis, maybe? (I'm apping her as being 23)

H'tio will be happy to meet another blue winglet from his class, and I think friendship could be in works for these two. H'tio doesn't like admitting it, but he does gravitate toward and admire people who are more vocal than himself

We should get these two together again after we finish Horatio's search thread *winces* They're rather similar in their thinking and preference for solitariness, which may or may not work in this case. I'm thinking comradeship in view of those commonalities

Right, so now that Hilton has impressed, Sly is going to be a touch angry. I don't think he will blame it on H'ton, per se, because it wasn't exactly H'ton's fault, but Sly will be really disappointed about the whole bonding thing, and he might feel a bit betrayed. BUT, he will try his best to be as supportive as possible, once he gets over his initial shock, if only because H'ton is his friend.

While continuing the threads with Sly and S'ara, I'm thinking about dropping some threads as well. If you still want to continue your search, please just drop me a line! However, sadly with Winged on hiatus I think it'll be hard to continue the Sly/Diana search thread. =/

I'm also going to start implementing some new threads/stuff into the mix, so look out! ;]
