Name: B'oone (Baroone)
Age: Twenty-Eight, born in Fall
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Rank: Redrider, Sayaie Watch Captain
Location: Eyrie
Personality:
B’oone is a rather difficult person to figure out. On the outside, he acts as though nothing can move him and he is completely unemotional, whereas if you dare to look deeper, you will see that he can be a rather caring and kind guy. In order to discover who he really we must take a look deeper inside him and discover what he is really like.
Many people describe B’oone as stoic and unmoving but if you can see deeper, he is much more than that. He was raised in harsh circumstances, which have shaped him into the man that he is today. He is used to never being praised or thanked for anything that he has ever done correctly and even when he is, it makes him awfully uncomfortable and he becomes very awkward in the situation. It baffles many people as to why this is as he always keeps his past a secret from other people.
Due to his rather bleak and depressing past, B’oone has shown to many people that he perseveres. Out of all of his siblings, he is the one that survived, the one that kept moving forward despite the hardships. He did not let his parents push him down and instead kept his head high and looked to the future. This has led to produce a very work-motivated attitude and courage. He uses his work to distract himself from everything in his past and all the troubles of life. During work he is very silent, only stopping to shout out orders. Other than that he remains quiet and it is next to impossible for anyone to get a word out of him.
Despite being the silent type, he still does have a softer inside though it is rarely shown to anyone. When he is not working, and is away from his job, he is very soft. He is quick to smile and slow to anger, which is lucky for the people around him. During these times it is often revealed that he is very fond of young children, often wanting to protect them like he could not protect his younger siblings. He also loves talking to the ladies, a past time that he often divulges in far too often. He is viewed as mysterious to some of the women and he always makes sure that Anoglyph stays in shape and is the best that he can be. The pair often gets up to fun whilst there is no work needed to be done. The one thing that he vows not to do, is to become like his father, and he will do anything to make sure of it.
Appearance:
B’oone is quite a sturdy and well-built man at a quick glance. He is quite soft on the eyes and towers over many people, standing at a rough six foot one. His skin is rather pale and it contrasts against his dark hair and dark eyes. His hair is nearly black and is usually cut short, with his beard always shaven. After a long week of working he often has quite a messy and ragged appearance after not having shaven for that week, leaving him with some stubble. His eyes are dark brown with flecks of green and on some days when the sun is high they seem more green than brown. From looking into these eyes, one could tell exactly what mood he is in. His emotions are displayed through his eyes quite clearly though he does often try to hide it. Underneath his muscles ripple beneath his shirt but unlike his simourv he prefers not to let them show willingly. He is well built for the life of a rider and takes to it well. Many of the scars from his childhood are disappearing and there are a few scars that show up new during his life.

Simourv Name: Anoglyph
Simourv Color: Red - #800000
Simourv Age: Four years
Personality:
Being a red simourv, one would assume that this large beast takes on all personality traits of other similar reds. In many ways, that is quite true, but in many other ways, Anoglyph’s personality varies. He possesses all those usual annoying traits that a stereotypical red simourv holds but on top of that he possesses many traits that are similar to those of his rider, which is why he most likely chose B’oone.
Anoglyph, at a first glance is incredibly stubborn and completely and utterly vain. He can often be seen pausing over puddles of water just to glance down and look at his own reflection in the water. He does not care what other people or other simourvs think of him and instead plans to be the best that he can be, feeling much like B’oone does. He loves to gloat and boast about his defeats and battle wins to other simourvs, regardless of whether they are actually listening or not. In truth, it seems as though Glyph just likes the sound of his own voice. He is also very stubborn and will not do anything he is not completely sure he wants to do. He is like a giant boulder, impossible to budge. The only one who would be able to get him to move would be B’oone, but even he fails more often than succeeds. Glyph is very annoying at times and will just ramble on to his rider about how amazingly gorgeous he looks and how B’oone should work to clean himself up a bit more and impress the ladies. Despite the fact that he can be quite talkative, he only ever speaks to B’oone and never telepathically communicates to any other human. He believes it to be something that he and his rider share, that should only be shared between them, although he would never tell B’oone that.
So basically, Glyph is rather a stereotypical red simourv but he is also different from them. Whenever he is with B’oone he becomes more relaxed, less hell bent on being the best in all of Pohono. Like B’oone, whenever there is not work to be done, he does drop the whole moody act and instead actually likes to have fun. He and his rider are very close and although he would never admit it, he rather cares for B’oone and loves him like a brother. As he puts it, they like to avoid any ‘chick’ moments and instead Glyph and B’oone both keep the cliché and sappy talk to a minimum. So instead Anoglyph just watches his rider with wonder and quiet admiration, without uttering a word about it.
Appearance:
Anoglyph is a rather average looking red simourv. He has no real markings that jump out at you and his feathers are mainly deep red and not glossy. They do occasionally seem to shine in the sun but apart from that, he is rather like the next red with no real glories. His main feather colour is a dark crimson that makes up most of his body and some of his large wings. At the base of his wings is a darker crimson and the wing colour gets lighter until the light pink tip. Glyph’s face is a pinky red colour with a light pink muzzle and grey eyes. His yellow-orange eyes are the features that really stand out the most as they are very dull but, like B’oone, display all of his emotions. Falling down from his eyes are markings that look almost like black tears. His tail is more whip like than the common poof of the other simourvs. It is a dark crimson red and at the end his tail is a mixture of shades of crimson and black. His front horns are shorter and are dark grey, often seeming to appear black. His longer, back horns are coal black like his pupils. His legs are red, tipped with sharp, black claws. All in all, he is rather large but a rather average looking red simourv, with nothing really special about him. But, like they say, never judge a book by its cover.
Parentage:
Gray Wild x Black Wild
History:
Baroone was born into a troubled family, the eldest of three. His parents were very rough and tough parents and they disciplined Baroone in the way that they thought best. If ever he did something wrong, it was a hard smack that he received from his mother and she simply told him that it was the right way to be taught. He did not know otherwise but of course, he still did not think that it was how any child should be treated. His father was a heavy drinker and often came home incredibly drunk on late nights. He took his anger out on his wife and eldest son, not realising the hurt he was causing Baroone. But Baroone simply ignored it and ploughed onwards, trying his best to keep his parents happy so that he would not be subject to such harsh punishments.
Monoone, his younger brother, was born with Baroone was only three years old. The pair got on very well and Baroone often saw himself as his younger brother’s guardian angel, the one that had to look out for him and take care of him. Throughout their childhood, Baroone took the blame for everything that went wrong in the family and took the punishments for his brother every time. When his father returned home, angry and drunk, Baroone would make sure that his younger brother was safely shut inside his bedroom so that no fury could seek him out there. He was always worrying about his younger brother, hoping that whenever he was out no harm would befall the young child.
At the age of eight, Baroone found himself with another sibling, a younger sister, Annh. Both boys adored their sister and so did their mother. Annh was always their mother’s favourite but none of them would dare mention it aloud. Still, Baroone continued to take all the punishments and he now took it upon himself to also protect his sister, a feat that would soon prove to be very difficult. When the two boys were walking home together one day, they could never envision what was going on back home. Their father had had a few drinks and was in a bad mood on top of that. Manna managed to anger her husband and he was thrown off. He hit her, a few times, and then he realised that Annh was watching. He turned on her, hurled her across the room. The little girl, only five years old, hit her head on the corner of a table and simply never woke up.
When Baroone got home finally he saw his younger sister and was told some story which he did not for one second believe. Still, he had grown wiser and knew not to question his father for it would just end with him in the same state as Annh. So instead, he remained quiet and he stayed quiet. The boy, now thirteen, withdrew into himself and refused to speak to anyone. He kept to himself when around the other children and each of his responses were simply hand gestures or, to those he trusted, monosyllabic words. He did not care what the other people thought and instead decided to excel and be as good as he could be, and to never turn into his father. He promised to protect his brother like he could not protect his sister.
The boy grew into a man and soon he was old enough to help out around the settlement. He was among a few people, one of the eldest, to go out further on what they called a hunting expedition. It was then that his life changed. At the time he was twenty three, and he turned twenty four whilst out in the wilderness of Pohono. On the expedition they found a grey simourv, sickly looking and hovering over a large clutch of eggs. This was the first time that Baroone had really been up close with a simourv and he had never seen any eggs before. To him, it was simply an amazing sight.
Roaza, one of the women on the expedition spoke out and told them that they should remain with the eggs. Baroone, although hesitant, backed her up, deciding that the simourvs had saved them enough times and they needed to repay the favour. He had not spoken that many words in what seemed like a lifetime. Of course, once they set up camp with the eggs, he once again became silent, withdrawing into himself again and not showing to anyone that he acknowledged the words he had spoken for the first time in a while.
The eggs hatched and Baroone was surprised to find that one of them bonded to him. Baroone became B’oone and was joined with Anoglyph, forming a bond that could never be broken. He often wondered why Glyph chose him but of course, the simourv is too mysterious to ever reveal a long part of the story at once. It was at that time that he realised there were the exact same amount of eggs as there were people on the expedition. Though he doubted there was such a thing as fate, he thought that maybe something had meant for that to happen.
The twenty four people that were on the expedition found it difficult to train their simourvs. Roaza, now Ro’za had bonded with the only gray and B’oone thought it was quite perfect, seeing as she was the reason that they had stayed with eggs. B’oone worked hard to try and fulfil his hopes to be the best that he could be, and that included training his simourv successfully. Anoglyph was stubborn and often did not listen but the man managed to knock some sense and intelligence into the winged beast. After a while, he had got the hang of it and, being one of the oldest, started to help out the younger people. Eventually, most of them were ready for whatever it was that was going to happen next.
After finding a nice canyon the group was met by koxi and they rode their simourv into battle, managing to destroy the thread with no casualties. To B’oone, it was a simply amazing feeling, to win. He was so excited by the thrill of it all and the fact that he had had a small part to play in it all. People started moving into the new settlement and in a fitting way; Ro’za was named as the first Sr. Phoenix. More eggs hatched and despite the fact that wild simourv were no virtually extinct, there are more riders and more hope for the people of Pohono. So B’oone decided that he would stand by his leader no matter what, and he would continue to be the best that is humanly possible for him.
