[/color]hey’re just so good, an’ I dun see why we can’t get anymore. ‘Cause it’s not like they’re in short supply right? They grow all over the forests ‘n Chydyn don’ they? Tossitoph mumbled, busy gnawing on the gigantic nut she was holding in her front claws. There was a small pile of the nuts under her wing. She was shielding them and her rider from the cold.

G’ir has among the nuts, nestled into the feathers under the rainbow’s wings and enjoying a nut herself. She was using a handy pocketknife to cut off little chunks and chew on them much like her Simourv. Maybe cause it’s winter and it’s cold. I don’t think they’d grow if it’s cold. I wouldn’t grow if I were a nut, I’d want the sun and stuff like that you know? she took another bite of the nut and leaned back into the warm feathers. Giggling she put her ear to the SImourv’s side. Ohmygawddd I can hear your heartbeat! I learn new things everyday~! It’s so loud, bet you can’t hear mine. She laughed as a large muzzle followed by Tossi’s multicolored head peered in under the wing and pinned it’s rider up against its side with its ear on her chest. Tossitoph paused a moment before declaring, I can too. I ‘ear your heartbeat, it’s much faster than mine! It’s ‘cause yer so tiny!

"Shouldn’t you be guarding the Eyrie or something?" G’ir growled, feigning anger and playfully pushing the rainbow’s head away. Tossitoph shook in laughter before returning her head to the outside world. She scanned the cold and bleak eyrie, surely no Koxi would attack on a day like this. Why did they have to be out here again? Sighing she fluffed her feather and got back to eating the nut.

Hylia was at the Guard Heights, she decided that there was where she had wanted to go. Having a simourv of my own for a change would be nice. The thought just popped up in her mind. The problem was she didn't know if she would be chosen by a simourv herself. If only she knew much more then she knew right now. Then she might have a simourv RIGHT now, she would even be a rider, she would be known all over Eyrie! Hylia knew she was going to far with the imagining thing.

Hylia looked down at the ground thinking, without paying any attention at all. Then when she finally stopped she looked up. She was about 2 feet away from a rainbow simourv's head.

Hylia backed up. Why wasn't I watching where i was going? I could have bumped into the simourv, what would its reaction have been? I need to be more careful. She looked at the simourv, she just stood there for a while looking all over the simourv. Its beautiful! With a twinkle in her eye, she just stood there waiting for something exciting to happen.

[/u] the simourv put the nut down and turned to face the candidate. Invite her in, it's warm enough for two right? It'll be a squeeze but...worth it yeah? G'ir said scooting over to make room for a another in the little room under the rainbow's wing. Tossitoph yawned and readjusted her wings before lifting one and revealing a waving G'ir. "Why don't you join me huh? Tossi's nice and warm and it's her turn to do watch so she won't move around much. And we got nuts!" she lifted up the nut she was holding and grinned.

Tossi flickered her tail, moving it around behind the candidate as if threatening to push her under her wing. "M'names G'ir, this is Tossitoph but I call her Tossi cause her real names a mouthful and hard to say under pressure and if you need to say it quick Tossi's the way to go," G'ir added, patting the ground next to her.[/size][/ul]

Hylia's heart was pounding in her chest, but she didn't know why. Maybe it was because she got invited by a rider to join her. "Nice to meet you G'ir and Tossi. My names Hylia, and I would love to join you." She said as she crawled to join G'ir. She actually asked me to join her! This is my lucky day!

"Thanks for letting me join you. This must be your simourv, she is very beautiful." Hylia said trying to make a conversation. Making a conversation with someone was very easy for Hylia, but she often seemed nervous whenever making a conversation with a rider. She didn't actually know what made her so nervous. Maybe because she didn't want to mess up in front of them. Maybe because they was well known all over Eyrie. Maybe for no reason at all.

Suddenly a question pooped up in Hylia's head. Should I ask her a question, just one? Guess it couldn't hurt.Hey uh I got a question and was wondering if you could answer it for me. Whats it like to be a rider? Hylia knew she was pushing her luck.

[/b] G'ir offered, holding one up to the candidate. "They're really good and you can't get too many of them this time of year. To cold you know?" She leaned back in to the rainbow's side clearly enjoying the wamrth. Tossitoph curled her tail around the edges of the wing, blocking out any stray drafts of cold air.

"Hmm? Oh no problem, you must've been cold walkin' around out there all by your lonesome, G'ir raised an eyebrow at the girl then grinned. Yep, this is Tossi my lovely rainbow Simourv, she can be rather hyper but today she's too cold to do much."

"Oh it's so fun, you can ride around anywhere you want and ferry people around, though I don't like that part much, and you can always talk to your Simourv when you're bored. I talk to Miss Tossitoph here a lot, cause we always have watch together. What's it like being a candidate? I was never really one you know, she said all of this very quickly and wasn't sure if the girl could understand her but she didn't really think much about that.

Hylia accepts the nut. "Ya it must be to cold to find any of these nuts." Hylia soon wondered why the nuts went scarce at winter. Maybe because they need sunshine? Maybe Hylia shrugged.

"Sure sounds fun to have a simourv!" Hylia said after a while. Why cant I have a simourv? I try so hard! It was the truth to, Hylia did try hard. To accomplish her goals and such, and one of her goals was to get a simourv. What I really want is a tawny simourv, yeah yeah. A tawny simourv! Hylia knew she was going overboard with the whole wanting thing.

"Huh? Whats it like being a candidate? Well at times it can be very exciting, thinking about getting picked by a simourv. But later on you suddenly feel bored and lonely." Hylia had forgot that she wasn't alone. But she had told the truth. Well the way Hylia saw it, being a candidate sucked. It seems exciting at first, but later on it gets boring and lonely. She didn't know why she felt this way, but she did. Of course she still got excited about it very now and then. Just thinking about having a simourv made her overly excited.
