It was winter. And they were in the Gardens. Sometimes, Kilenph did worry about His. After all, it was just a bit ago that he had repeatedly sent His back for shoes, a pair of shoes that wasn't sandals, and a hat. Three times, he had shepherded His back into the back part of their Eyling to get the proper clothes for any sort of jaunt outside. C'en was fond of forgetting things. And now that they were out here, C'en didn't seem to have any plan. Why exactly did we come out here, C'en? Kilenph reminded His gently that they had had a plan. That was the only reason C'en would have been so bent on getting out. 'Oh, I just wanted to.' C'en responded idly to his blue simourv, a fond smile on his face. He hadn't really had a reason to come out here. The urge had just . . . struck him. The gardens had quite suddenly seemed like a nice place to be. It didn't really make sense, but it didn't bother C'en. It was chilly, yes, but he did have his jacket, hat and boots, thanks to Kilenph's pestering him, so C'en was good. Kilenph sighed and C'en's words, a whoosh of air escaping his lungs in an action that he had learned from His. You are getting cold out here. He informed His solemnly, We should go inside so that you don't catch a cold. Kilenph wanted to protect His from those ugly sicknesses that he tended to catch if he stayed outside for too long. C'en shook his head in response to Blue, smiling to himself. "I'm not cold. Thanks to you, of course. I would be cold if you hadn't sent me in so many times to get the proper clothes. But I won't catch a cold; I'm plenty warm." He switched easily from non-verbal to verbal communication. It didn't matter how he communicated; no one else was out there. They were quite alone in their little corner, though it was admittedly right by the entrance to the garden areas. The chores or whatever seemed to be all done or had yet to start, seeing as the gardens were quite deserted. Perhaps most people were inside? Or maybe the vegetable gardens that helped feed the Eyrie weren't very interesting to most? I would imagine that it is a combination of both. Kilenph spoke in response to C'en's thoughts, making a soft chirping noise to himself. C'en laughed, shifting his weight from foot to foot. It was an absent motion that was mostly just done because C'en was bored, not nervous. He had nothing to be nervous about; Kilenph would not let anyone hurt him and C'en was standing right next to his head. So yeah, he had nothing to worry about, even if someone did show up.[/blockquote]

After being searched, Hylia was free to go where ever she wanted in Eyrie, and she wanted to go to the garden. Once she was there, Hylia got to walking around the garden, a thought came to her. Why am I even out here? This had been the first time she had gone out in the Eyrie and despite her freedom, it made her a bit nervous. After a while she felt a cold breeze, she shivered. Even with a coat on it was still pretty cold. She wasn't expecting to find someone out here so she just assumed she would find no one, but her lonely self. After walking around the garden she saw someone, as she got closer she saw something else to but she couldn't make out what it was. Step by step the shadows grew and seemed more frightening to Hylia.
The big shadow suddenly moved she could see eyes looking at her. Hylia screamed as loud as she could, but stood still she couldn't move. Maybe it was because she was to frightened or maybe she was just curious. oh god oh god Hylia thought. Then the little shadow moved to, by the looks of the shadow it was a human. Then the person came closer and closer until they was about two feet apart.
Another breeze passed, her mind said run but her legs said no. Why couldn't she run? Did it have something to do with her being frightened? Or did it have something to do with her being curious? Hylia didn't know what to do. Should she run? No that wasn't an option since her legs wouldn't move. Should she speak? She decided she might as well say something. Hylia gulped, "Hello?"she finally managed to say.

Kilenph was the first of the riderpair to notice the new arrival. Which was pretty pitiful, considering C'en was facing towards him, but Kilenph was the more observant of the two. As the sounds of footsteps approached, Kilenph turned to face the other, eyes focusing on the form of a human who was much smaller than His. C'enMine, we have a visitor. Even as he bespoke his, Kilenph continued to watch the new arrival, curious to see what she would do next. He did like new arrivals. Especially if they needed help. He liked helping people even more than he liked new arrivals! C'en offered his blue a fond smile as Kilenph's words reached him. "Do we now?" He hadn't realized that! He felt bad. Would she be offended because he hadn't greeted her yet? He sure hoped not; C'en didn't want to offend anyone, even a stranger. Shaking the thought off, C'en moved forward to greet the new arrival, a grin spreading across his face. "Hello there! I hope you don't think I was ignoring you, I just didn't notice that anyone else had showed--" He had been planning to say something else, but as his mouth moved to form the next word, the girl screamed. It was a piercing, echoing noise that had C'en turning towards Kilenph with an expression of confusion on his features. 'What did we do to scare her?'Kilenph, meanwhile, was carefully examining the newcomer, head tilted. She sounded like she needed help. Perhaps it was because he just loved helping people that he thought she needed it. It could also have something to do with the fact that the girl was screaming. Loudly. Don't scream, little one. Kilenph gave what he hoped was a comforting croon, tilting his head and chirping. We aren't going to hurt you. C'en grinned, mostly to himself, as the girl spoke. "Hello?" she spoke, and he answered without hesitation. "Hello! I'm C'en, and that's Blue Kilenph." C'en paused, jerking his thumb over his shoulder, "I do hope that you don't think I was ignoring you. I really wasn't. I'm not the most observant of people." he smiled in his most comforting manner (though he wasn't sure quite how comforting it would be. He figured he'd try, though. Just because he'd already made her scream) and brushed his hair out of his line of vision absently. "What's your name?"[/blockquote]

Another person? Here? That was the first thing that came in Hylia's mind. "Your C'en? My names Hylia." She stuttered. She shivered, it seemed to be colder then she thought. Is that a simourv? Or am I imagining things? Thought Hylia. If it was a simourv, it looked allot like a blue. Was it friendly? What was it doing here? Did it belong to C'en? How would it react to her? She had so many questions on her mind.
"Well...I didn't expect to see someone out here." Hylia said, and it was the truth to. Hylia looked around, it was peaceful and quiet. Stop it, there is someone here focus! Why cant I focus? Why am I so nervous? Hylia was confused, Why all of a sudden are so many questions popping in my head? Maybe I'm getting curious, maybe to curious. Hylia didn't know the answers to all these questions, but she was about to figure them out.
Hylia knew she would have to say something. But she couldn't figure out what else to say. Should she just leave? No that would be rude. should she ask questions? She didn't think asking questions was really a good thing to do, but yet she had already asked one. So what was the harm of another? Should she ask for help? It might be useless, but hey why not try?. "Hey could you help me out, by any chance?" Hylia asked. She had said something before she had thought, it kind of worried Hylia. But not to much, as long as she didn't burst out crying she would be alright. She hoped.
