Personality:
She's nice. Very nice. That's by far the most noticeable thing about Koeti. She's extremely selfless, accepting, and will go out of her way to help others. It's not the result of teachings as a child to be polite and helpful, but rather of her own accord. She loves to make people happy and loves to feel like she's doing something good for the world. She especially enjoys helping out with children, being of a natural motherly sort.

However, for all she may be kind and helpful, she's not cheery all the time. She's extremely sensitive and touchy. Some things can get her sad in a snap, worrying if she did something wrong or if things would just keep getting worse, and others can have her riled up and angry. As a sad person, Koeti is sulky and quiet and tends to either pull out the puppy dog eyes or shy away from people in general. As for anger, she doesn't deal with it in a violent way. Rather, she seethes inwardly, occasionally dealing out a snappy remark or a killer glare. She tries to be happy, though. Being upset makes more people than just herself unhappy, which just makes her feel guilty and worse.

Koeti is also largely innocent. She can be slow at picking up on certain things, but it's not to say she's unintelligent. She's incredibly bright academically, but when it comes to things like sarcasm and jokes, sometimes it takes her a while to clue in. She's also extremely shy about romance and all the things included with it - they make her blush profusely. She does love a good laugh, though, and really is a fun person to be around. Her endless energy makes her great company and a good ray of sunshine when you need one most.


Appearance:
Koeti is tall. There's no denying it. At just a squeak under six feet, she towers over most women, and along with that comes thin, spindly legs and arms. While her figure is far from full, there's nothing about it that makes her look unhealthy. She just looks like she has a good metabolism, not that she doesn't eat. Her small chest suits her well - any larger and she'd look very topheavy.

Her hair is best compared to aged straw, a dark and varied sort of blonde that hangs in thick and wavy. Most of the time, she keeps it tied back where it can't get in the way of her soft face. There is a hint of a strong jawline, but it's not overwhelming. Her lips are full and pale to match the rest of her skin, her eyebrows arched, and her eyes wide and girly. They're a stormy shade of blue.

Koeti definitely has the potential to look important and imposing, thanks to her height and refined features, but her kind personality is enough to override it and give her a softer appearance.

History:
Koeti was born first of four to a pair of teachers, Tiny and Kolen. Tiny was a mother to more children than her own, and was affectionately called 'Mama Tiny.' Her loving ways rubbed off on Koeti almost instantly, and she was always willing to help her parents out with anything they needed, whether it be tidying classrooms or setting out snacks for the kids or, when she was older, covering a lesson for the day.

Her and her sister Kitty were extremely close from the start. Even if Kitty was a far more spirited and fiery child, the two were likes peas in a pod. Koeti tended to be the peacekeeper of the family, though. Kitty was the firestarter. She was always pulling her little brothers' strings, and Koeti hated conflict in the house. She made a point of keeping fights between Kitty, Teno and Nyli to a minimum. Koeti was the 'awesomest big sister ever,' according to the youngest, Nyli, and with good reason. She was always there to play, help, and comfort. Teno agreed, albeit secretly - he always was the moody one.

Koeti received a dedicated, quality education from her loving parents. She loved learning. Knowing things made her feel great. Even if she couldn't see an applicable reason to have such knowledge in the future, just knowing it made her happy. Sometimes, she found times where seemingly useless knowledge was made useful, and it made her feel so very accomplished.

As she grew older, she started teaching full-time. She taught the younger students, her lessons revolving around things like manners and counting and the alphabet. While Koeti grew older, so too did her siblings. Kitty got her first boyfriend and, as a result, her first case of heartbreak, which was almost as hard for Koeti as it was for Kitty. She remembered a lot of evening spent with comfort food under the stars, trying convince her little sister that the boy totally wasn't worth it if he was going to be mean to her anyways. Nyli went through his first crush when he was eight and was convinced he was going to marry the girl, and wouldn't stop talking about her. One day, he also found a bug in his room, and put it in a jar on Koeti's bedside table as a "present." On Teno's fourteenth birthday, Koeti made him the most wonderful cake, complete with a honey drizzle on top, and it was the first time she'd seen the grumpy teen smile without trying to hide it to be cool. There were many good memories to be had.

Nowadays, Koeti still teaches, and is still single. She doesn't really care about that fact - "you can't miss what you never had," she says about relationships. She's currently trying to remember the names of all her new students, and trying to get over the shock of Teno getting his first girlfriend.
