Location: Wanderer
Personality:
Confidence is a good starting point to describe Amaryllis's personality. Her body posture and actions show this. Even when she is not confident, she makes sure to make others think this way. There are many aspects leading to her confidence. One is selfishness. As her relationship with her older brother died, she relied on herself. There are exceptions to her selfishness. Her love for attentions branches from her selfishness and adds to her confidence. The amount of attention she affects her confidence. She won't go to dirty or extreme lengths and she doesn't require a lot, but Ryllis hates to disappear in the background. Attention from close friends mean little to her. She depends little on other people and hates to ask for help, but Amar is not above it. Part of this independence stemmed off the belief of woman equality she obtained when she ran away from home. Along with equality, Ryllis learned to speak her mind though she hides negative feelings unless pressured.
Amaryllis won't hesitate to admit that she is right, within reason, but admitting she is wrong is another thing. Stubborn as could be, the worst fate is having to admit her mistakes, especially to family and enemies. From her brother, she gained a bit of perfectism. It isn't severe, only in her dancing craft. Like negative feelings, she conceals them with skill. Usually, she is calm and hard to anger, taking insults and sorrows with a emotionless expression, but she, like everyone, has limits. Amaryllis's anger is relentless and unbiased as she'll snap at friends, family, and authorities. Her fury also lasts longer, but when it is gone, usually there is little sign of it ever existing. Treatment of strangers is unbiased as she Ryllis greets strangers with a warm heart, pushing back negative opinions that pop in her mind. When getting to know others, she is charismatic, sometimes too talkative and personal, and her words are often warm. As she gets to know someone, she groups them as enemies or friends and treats them as such. Enemies suffer the negative part of her charismatic side.
When it comes to people, Amaryllis has great intelligence, but her capacity for learning is lacking. When it comes to visual or tactical aides when learning, she can pick up on anything, but any other method is wasted on her. Auditory is the worst for her as she often spaces out on lengthy speeches when she is unable to respond. To help her attention span, Amar has a bad habit of interrupting. Her memory holds great amount of information but nothing auditory. As a result faces are her forte. She spent most of the two years at the traveling group telling them the safest routes from town to town.
Appearance:
Amaryllis's face shape is oval and it is decorated with dainty features, giving her a younger appearance. This is good for now, but it will backfire as she ages. Her forehead is high. he hides it behind black straight cut bangs that skim her curved, dark eyebrows. Bright blue eyes are her most obvious feature and she hates it when people stare at them or comment on them, especially when their width is mentioned. As a result, there is a lot of twisting in her dances. Her ears are close to her head, which sometimes give her face an odd shape. Nevertheless, they are shown because most of the time her messy, waist-length, black hair is tied. Ryllis makes sure most of the tangles are out of her hair if she keeps it down.
Amaryllis is quite tall and her limbs are long, but she has many curves, especially in her thighs where most of her muscle. Her feet are large and bony since they need to keep her balanced. Most of her attire fits her dancer lifestyle-- exposing torso and free moving skirts. She has knee-length shorts and a loose fitting shirt, but they are worn and barely thought of. She doesn't feel right without something tied to her wrists, elbows, or ankles.

History:
[from here]Amaryllis’s father Matteo, sets bones for a living. His profession is based upon the art of healing damaged and broken limbs, and he performs his job with an intense expertise. While the man may not be a proper doctor, he is a professional, and he knows that his skills are important and unusual. He also tends to think of himself as a bit more important than he actually is, which means that he has instilled a sense of self importance into his family and children. Matteo married Dorian when they both were young, and their first child, Ripley, was born when the father was twenty-seven, and the mother twenty-two, and from the moment Ripley was born, Matteo knew Ripley would become important and successful. Matteo was determined to instruct his son in the art of medicine, so that Ripley could become a proper doctor, and transcend his father’s bonesetting profession.
When Ripley was seven, his little sister, Amaryllis was born. Although at first Ripley believed his sister encroached on his territory, he eventually realized that his sister provided him a support system who believed in him no matter if he failed or if he succeeded. Nothing caused the admiration except for a strong sibling bond. Though she did not understand the work Ripley preformed, she was infatuated with the way he did his work.Ri'ley, then Ripley, of course, was extremely loving to the girl. Since she was quite intelligent, he took it upon himself to talk to her as such, and any significant education she received beyond domestic chores probably came from Ri'ley. Because of that, and the fact that he father is a bone-setter, she has some working knowledge of medicine. Otherwise, her parents set out to make her a doting, perfect wife, so she would have a great deal of skill with sewing, weaving, cooking. Her brother became a real pillar for her, especially how he handled their parents.
As they grew, it became clear that Matteo expected nothing but obedience from his daughter, while he expected everything, success, power, and knowledge from his son. The double standard frustrated both children, who plotted running away and living together at every opportunity. They never acted upon those whims, though, and Ripley eventually began to follow the path that his father wanted for him. When Ripley left the house became an apprentice to the surgeon, Amaryllis, at eight, was not pleased that her brother left her to face her parents alone. She sometimes visited him, even if he was working, watching her brother learn grow.
And then one day Amaryllis heard the talks of her parents. They spoke of lessons intensifying and play dates with the surrounding boys her age. The future seemed bleak and she returned to the days of her brother and her joked about running away. Then she realized Ripley had escaped through his apprenticeship, but there was no hope for her to obtain such an apprenticeship. One night, she decided she had to run away by herself. The girl had no plan, no funds except for a few dialisks she collected over the years. Part of her wanted to tell her brother, but she feared his reaction and his meddling. The deciding factor was the cloud of betrayal she felt after her brother left.
She spent many hours looking for a job, but no one wanted to hire a young woman with only household duties that any wife would do for free. Then she tried to dance for loose change. It offered some money until a woman offered her a great amount of diasks. After her little street performance, the woman gave Amaryllis an opportunity for a better life. The stranger described a group she was in and asked if Amar was insterested. She accepted, adopting the name Ryllis.
The group was a cross between a circus and gypsy band. They entertained any way they could and they employed anyone. Usually, the untalented individuals worked the booths and burly ones acted as guards or cheap labor. Ryllis acted as an apprentice to the resident dancer. She didn't perform much except for training. Other times, she observed Amonica, the dancer who recruited her, in the many dances she preformed to any audience that paid attention. The group entertained with black and white horses, artful dogs, and other way to get people attention. This motley crew was not out for money or fame, but they thought, with the birth of the riders, that they needed an outlet, to make the people smile. Yes, the leader of the crew hired some pickpocketers, but the performers had little knowledge of this.
Amonica acted as a mother, encouraging her to speak her mind and be proud of her skills with her body. Ryllis felt guility for replacing her mother, so she saw Amonica as Ryllis's mother. Within a year, the fifteen year old took to the stage, joining Amonica every night. After that Amaryllis seemed like a far off dream. She thought of her brother from time to time, between their travels, but feelings of distance turned into hatred. She brooded over the reasons why her brother ignored her and then she wanted nothing to do with it. In a talk about her past, Amonica encouraged her young apprentice to rekindle her past relationships, saying it was important to please the people but it was impossible if we could not please ourselves. On the road, they noticed a girl, younger than Ryllis was, dancing for tips. Amonica took her as a new apprentice. With the new face, Ryllis was allowed to perform by herself and do the valuable Gentlemen's show that involved very different moves involving a display of her body. Ryllis loved the attention she received. That's when Amonica explained why the men loved the Gentlemen's show so much. Ryllis understood, but she didn't care. The smiles on their faces was enough to push out the negative thoughts about her body.
Ryllis was honest, so she could not deny that Vilna, the younger apprentice, was stealing attention from Amonica. Vilna had more skill than Ryllis dreamed of, but the girl felt better when she realized Vilna had no attention span and it was harder for her to learn the motions and tips Amonica had to offer.
People came and went. Most of them were grunts, but never the burly ones, and they disappeared in the middle of the night. No one explained the departures, so rumors always surrounded the departed workers. Ryllis first bathed in these rumors, sometimes adding a creative twist. Later, as more people left, the dancer became bored with the changing grunts and stopped worrying about them. Ryllis learned how she could be more helpful by learning the safer, koxi-free routes. With her help, the lost less horses, but she also learned that the disappearing grunts were tossed off the caravan when they made demands like more money and the like. She wondered the fate of many, worried about koxis attacking the lone men. When the group returned to Sayaie, the girl started to wonder about her brother. She asked around until she came in contact with his mentor. He laughed and explained he left for the Eyrie.
The Eyrie was a place they avoided out of respect, but Ryllis wanted to visit. Amonica asked for a break and the mentor agreed, telling her to be careful of koxi. Then Ryllis left to express her feelings toward her brother.

Undesired Color: Blue
Reasoning: Though I would be the Blue Whisperer, three would be too many. Rainbow would be a good other her because of the energy and they could keep up with each other. Rainbow would help her be cheerful. Green's emotional changes would work well for Amaryllis.
Injury/Mauling: Not too many scars, bruise all you want.
