Ichidou is an outwardly confident and oftentimes sarcastic personality, a facade that makes it conveniently simple to mask her actual feelings and considerations from the public eye. Laraph is often the only one privy to an I'dou sans mask, and I'm hoping to fix that. She's distanced herself from most of the people within the Eyrie during her tenure as winglet, and I'd really love it if one or two highly motivated people could find the patience and grit to stick with it and become her close friends, and help tear down those concrete defenses of hers. There's a lot of things about herself that she's been forcibly suppressing, such as her sexuality - which brings up the topic of lovers. Mild flirtation, or something more serious - for the moment, all I prefer is a female partner. Someone has to help drag her the last few inches out of the closet she's already cautiously peeking out of. As for enemies, I'm not looking for those so much - although more moderate confrontation is always welcome. I'dou can be a stubborn mule, it's bound to happen.

As for Laraph, well - she loves everything. EVERYTHING. Anything you can think of, she'd probably attempt for the sake of living life to its fullest. Stupid schemes included.

Let's see. Sal'a and Diana will instantly hit it off I think. They both don't like men. Sal'a is more hatred toward men authority figures, but she getting better though talking to Diana might change this.

As with I'dou, don't know what to do. I think we'll just have to have a random conversation. Perhaps with A'ryllis most likely. Or Basil when he breaths life.

I think they probably would find some camaraderie in their dislike of men. Not sure how good it'll be for the rest of the Eyrie, having them feed off one another. I can throw up a thread with Diana...hmm, any suggestions where?

As for I'dou, whichever you think can hold out against her snarky comments the longest! I think A'ryllis might be able to do it, and she might hold her tongue a bit if she knows Ri'ley's her brother, since Ri'ley's helped her out before. And we can do one with both her and Basil too! ...once he's alive.

A'ryllis definitely. And once and if she figures out that I'dou is treating her differently because of her brother, she will flip.

Haha, well she won't baby her or anything. So perhaps it'll slip under the radar, and she'll vehemently deny it if it comes up!

All right, I'm proposing this question because I'm just not sure what to do at this point. Would it help make it easier to plot with I'dou if I had something like a detailed blurb on her quirks and points of interest? Is there something that makes her uninteresting to role-play with, or just plain difficult? I'm a reactionary plotter - given a scenario I can usually map out something to happen. I just haven't had much interest in her at all, which is disappointing.

SO, what would make her more interesting? Or what isn't clear enough? Is she just not a good fit for this community?

I still want my A'ryllis and I'dou thread. And I think she is plenty interesting, hence my intense desire to thread. And thinking about, I really think Sal'a and I'dou should clash. Big blurbs are good too. I find them much more interesting along with potential ideas for enemies friends and lover. Or maybe everyone is afraid of the big bad grayrider.

[/b] ;; really, I doubt these two will be all that interesting together and it's all Ze'el's fault! He's very awkward and boring. But he and I'dou seem to have aggressive tendencies in common, so I really don't see them getting along all that well. Just a general vibe of negativity. If that makes sense. And I amuse myself with the notion of Ze'el not being in the good graces of either grayrider, as Ro'za sort of despises him already.

& T'ia ;; we could try to thread these two again, if you're interested. xD I can't quite recall our original plans for them, but mild flirtation is alwaysalways bound to happen where T'ia is involved. And, um, yes. Shenanigans. Of the delicouscous variety? Food should somehow be involved...

& S'ara ;; she's older than I'dou, but I can kind of easily imagine her being intimidated in a way. After all, I'dou is way tougher than S'ara ever is. xD But in the long run, I think she might see I'dou as someone that she needs to take care of? Or that she could use some taking care of, somehow. She'd remind her of one of her siblings, which usually sparks her maternal nature, so she'll probably timidly approach eventually. And Lorma will want to snuggle! As she typically always does.[/ul]
Diana
Sadly, I have no candidates just yet, so that cuts out a lot of connections right away, but I have some on the way that I'd like to toss at her once they're up and active- but until then!

[/b] ;; they're quite opposites in a number of ways, so it'd be some kind of awesomeness to throw them together, see what sparks might fly? Am'ra will try to be nice regardless of whether she gets on with Diana or not, and Philomeph will adore her no matter what! I'm not entirely sure how they'd meet up though, aside from just running into each other around the place.

& Ze'el ;; they seem to have a similar work ethic, so that's always good- and they're both from Sayaie, so perhaps she remembers him from any time that he might have needed to visit the blacksmith. Andddd he often likes to help out with chores, even those that belong to the candidates now and then, so they could easily run into each other at some point. So there's all that. And on top of it, he's an older man! So there's that point of conflict that could provide some potential interesting antics. Or something like. I dunno. xD

I'll start with Diana first.

Diana & Am'ra: I think this could actually be a big character development point for Di, along with Sylvester. If Am'ra's a bit uncertain about the candidate, I think she'd pick up on it pretty quick. Am'ra's continued kindness might be confusing for her at first, but before long she'd probably accept it, and probably respect her for it. It'd also draw into the light her own flaws in that department, and it'd make her face her own shadows, so to speak. I think it'd be a good idea for the two to meet, and one I hadn't even thought of. This is why I'm no good for plot starters.

Diana & Ze'el: Oh my, I can see these two butting heads. They share that commonality, that they have something of the same work ethic, but Diana has her prejudices, which makes everything all the more interesting. If he attempted to assist her in her work, I imagine she'd be put off and a touch angry, like 'what, you think I can't complete this by myself, because I'm a woman' spiel, and it'd probably just slide downhill from there. And it'd be even funnier if she did remember him, so she'd probably be a bit more biased than if she'd -just- met him. Maybe she thinks he's familiar, then ta-daa moment and that's when things kick off. :3

I'll wait for your thoughts on these before starting on I'dou-kins.

&K'ean. I don't believe we ever threaded them, and he's her searchrider! D8 That must be remedied! Especially since she's a junior Phoenix now, and graduated and everything! K'ean shall be pleased~ And congratulate her. And Seronaph has not forgotten the bidding war with Laraph at that Date Auction, oh no. He might bait her a bit, whilst K'ean makes disapproving noises. What say you?

&L'nan. Is grateful to I'dou at the moment, though it's an embarrassed sort of grateful. Because of what she did at that lesson, ahah. I think she quite likes I'dou, though she can be a bit of a grump at times. And she wants to be friends! And meanwhile Eoreph likes Laraph very much, and would possibly be a willing partner in any schemes she cooks up!

&Sil'us. Well, she's met one twin, why not the other? xD If Sylvester's interested in her in any way, most likely Sil'us will be curious about it. And well. He's a laid-back fellow, with no discernible work ethic unless you count smiling-at-the-ladies-to-win-them-over-and-get-them-to-buy-crap. And he's a charming bastard. Perhaps sparks of the not-so-nice kind might fly? xD

That is all I have for now, unfortunately, since I also do not have any candidates to throw at Diana, and I only have two that would feasibly interact with I'dou. x3 Unless you can think of something! Then maybe we could orchestrate something, I dunno. -loves on Wingy!- <3333

Diana & Ze'el ; ahaha, I loveeeee it! xD I keep trying to picture Zeke's response to that and all I can imagine is his sarcasm won't help matters at all. She'll be angry and he'll be sarcastic and it'll be an awful cycle of destructiveness - and poor Dareph will be off to the sidelines, trying to play peacekeeper! Okay, time to get some responses out.

Cy - Well, since we'll be waiting on the chores list for a bit, I think starting up that Am'ra and Diana thread would be awesome. I'm not on nearly as much as before, so maybe we should start out with just one thread, and see how it proceeds from there? I don't want to overload myself.

I'd like to think some more on Ze'el and I'dou, and perhaps come up with a good reason for I'dou to hold him properly in contempt, as a good gray rider ought to.

As for T'ia, I believe she was going to properly pester I'dou, although we could obviously decide to do something else? Something with food? ...hmm, well Ichi does like to eat. Haha, experimentations with food, oh God I can't imagine her trying to cook anything. orz

Fox -

I'dou & K'ean - Not to mention, this might actually give us an opportunity to figure out just how exactly she was searched! Haha, it could sort of be like a flashback, or something... And I think Laraph might be showing little signs of being irked at Seronaph, though she'd do her very best to keep her composure. He'd probably find it highly entertaining!

I'dou and L'nan - I think that little unfolding that happened is a good stepping up for these two to finally get to know each other a little better. I mean, they roomed together before the Hatching, haha, they should know a LITTLE about one another, but they haven't really spent time together since. And I'dou will kindly ask L'nan never to speak of the 'incident' with M'rion ever again. :'D

As for which one to start off with, that's entirely up to you! :3
