Today had been a good day. Standing around outside of the school while he waited for his little sister to get out, Taridan kept fingering something in his pockets. Today, he had a surprise for Tijera. Crossing his arms across his chest he leaned against a nearby wall and tried to guess at what would be for dinner when he got home. Knowing his granny, whatever it was would be delicious. His father had given him permission to leave the shop early, and since he had sold one of his carved hairpins he had a some diasks burning a hole in his pocket. Of course, he hadn't spent all of it on his little sister... that would just be dim of him. Shaking his head over the thought of how much candy he could have bought her he sighs and fingers the pouch in his pocket again then determinedly takes his hands from his pockets and stands there. There was no point in heating up the candy to the point where it would melt and make a gooey mess in his clothes. Finally after what seemed like forever the bell rang and children poured forth from the doors, eager to get away from the teachers and home to where they could play for a few hours before it got dark out.
