...Okay, I'm too tired to whine more.

So. I'm a nineteen year old college student, currently neglecting sleep, homework and... probably something else important... in order to be dragged over here by Kat. Because, you know, another addictive site is exactly what I need right in the middle of finals.

Anyway, I've never roleplayed before, excepting two or possibly three introductions on Magistream where the newbie introduced themselves in the form of a roleplay and everyone who welcomed them went with it. (And, for that matter, I had to ask someone to make sure that yes, I was right in guessing those were roleplays. Just, you know, to prove how utterly foreign all this is to me.) On the other hand I do write a lot, so story and character and world development I'm good at; it's just the format that I'll need to adjust to. Feel free to whack me if I get too creative; I'm just as likely to go off creating weather patterns and holidays and naming conventions as not if no one stops me. I'll try to be good, might need an occasional whack anyway though.

...Also, normally I'm fairly calm, but if I'm too tired (or have been working with sharpies too much), I get really, incredibly random, hyper, or weird, depending on the day and circumstances. So if I ever start rambling about stingrays or dream airlines or something equally deserving of "WTF?" and a straightjacket, just ignore me; I'll be back to normal soon.

And no worries about being new. We all were at one point. And most of the people here don't bite... very often. I might on occasion, but I like to call them love-nips... something like that... Kaslimeph might bite, though.

ANYWAY... The point is that everyone's pretty cool here and we'll be sure to "whack" you (not very hard, and not in the mob-boss sense of the term) if you need some guiding. =D I mean... wait... that's not the point... or was it? I don't remember anymore. x.x

I wanted a Pern site which was not canonical.
And I ended up here, and that was last May, and it's been so awesome.
