The prospect of learning how to play a grass flute was, surprisingly, quite an attractive one and K'ean found his mouth twitching into a crookedly amused grin. Call it a second childhood or call it simple curiousity; either way he still remained rather fascinated with some of the little games and tricks that so many other boys had had up their sleeves. A're, obviously, had been that type of boy. "Agreed. I'll be looking forward to it," he said. Absently, he tucked his injured arm closer to his body almost as if to hide it. He still rather disliked people paying attention to any weakness of his, even if it was in genuine concern. The redrider paused, thoughtful, at the offer of playing cards with the two greenriders, and found it to be quite an entertaining idea provided that, of course, they all managed to be off duty at the same time. If he remembered correctly, M'ari and Valenph were in K'yan's sweep. "I know some of the three player games..." He offered hesitantly. "Not well enough to gamble on, though; my sisters would usually just rope me in for whichever ones they needed a third for."
K'ean had been relaxed and comfortable on his little patch of grass, but Canph's grumbling voice put paid to that very quickly. The redrider stiffened, shooting the red simourv a narrow look, rather annoyed that he would resurrect a topic which had obviously caused at least one member of their party some embarrassment. His exasperated eye-roll was interrupted, however, by Muraaph's cheery suggestion, and K'ean automatically leaned backwards, aghast. Him, sing? "No! I mean- well, Muraaph, A're's singing might not sound like a dying cat, but trust me, mine does." He grimaced slightly at the vehemence of his denial, but it was truth. K'ean couldn't hold a tune to save his life. Music was not his forte at all. "Perhaps K'huna might sing if you ask him to, Canph." Diverting the suggestion off to the red, K'ean then found himself extremely amused by Muraaph's entreaty.
Strong, handsome red indeed. The young man smothered the grin threatening to stretch across his face and nodded to Muraaph's suggestion. His blue eyes, when they flickered back to a laughing A're, danced with silent laughter and he arched an eyebrow in amusement. It almost seemed to say 'Save us all from meddling simourv'. Although, K'ean supposed that without manipulative simourv, life would be a good deal less interesting.
