First... Next weekend (May 28th - May 29th) some friends are coming to visit and they'll be taking up much of my time so I probably won't be online at all until that Saturday evening.

Hopefully Bre will postpone on posting the second reply in Eceph's flight until Alianph can join in the race? *mews and gives cute big-eyed kitten look*


Second... I have finals from June 7th - June 10th and shortly after that I'll be moving back home. I'll have very limited activity during these times. =(


Third... I'm going to be camping from June 27th - July 2nd, and then right after that (like, barely time to do laundry and take a shower) I'll be camping with the extended family of my boyfriend for another week-ish (not sure exactly how long, I'll get back to you on that).

The good news is, I'll be here to make a starting post for the hatching for Elan. Bad news is, I'll probably not be able to make any subsequent posts or see the results for some time. x.x This is lame and simply won't do, but there's nothing I can do about my leaving. Possibly I can delegate to someone to make a second post for Elan for me (that way at the very least she'll have a chance of bonding with a simourv)? I don't know how well this would work, though.

If you at least manage to have Elan posted into the hatching, it'll be fine. The staff can work with it. ^^

And Elan shall certainly be posted at least once into the hatching! It shall be my prime concern before I leave!

All right... so Lan is back! Sorry about the extended absence... My internet at home wasn't so reliable and as soon as I got back it seemed I was summoned for jury duty and a bunch of crap like that. But I'm back now! Mwahaha. Finally able to get my computer set up!

So... as you may have noticed, there's been some unexpected absences due to crazy IRL circumstances. My close friend's mom has been in the hospital for the past couple of days in a vegetative state and they just decided pulled the plug on her this night/morning, so most of today I was there with him and his family. On other matters, I've been doing the run-around to try to get medical insurance again, taking care of an infection, dealing with left-over things from two different schools, and spending time with my boyfriend and his family who all seem to be going through a simultaneous depression.

My internet connection at home has also proven unreliable. Not to mention my mother's discovered the wonder of Facebook and has taken over my desk while I was away at college...

This weekend I'm hoping to catch up on all the posts I've been neglecting. Sorry for those who I have threads with who have been feeling ignored, I have all of my posts due in a list that I plan to go through tomorrow and the next day! I want to be all caught up before the hatching. Of course, though, that is highly dependent on my being available for my friend, if he needs me. I think he and his family are going to be pretty secluded for the next week, though. Sigh... I really hope his dad will be okay... my friend seemed relatively (and by relatively I mean moderately/barely at all but relative to the rest of his family) okay by the end of today, but his dad was probably the most shaken up, as is understandable. If you're the praying sort, your prayers are most welcome. I don't think his family is going to be okay for a long time.

Anyway, just wanted to keep you guys up to date and let you know I haven't forgotten about you. It's just been an insane week.

So, here's the deal... Lan's going to possibly be gone for a week again, if she can raise the money.

From July 30 - August 7 I'll either be in or in route to Mexico, where I'll be helping out an inner-city church with a small group of my peers. When not in the church itself, we'll be camping in tents just outside the city, so there will be pretty much no chance of getting any internet at all.

Also, I wanted to apologize for my recent unexplained bout of inactivity. Lan has been getting ready for a friend's wedding. Hopefully the next couple of days will let me be a little more active. =)
