Right, now, so I was thinking that we are doing a lot of plotting and not a lot of concrete planning. Hopefully, tomorrow, I will open the second poll as well as update the page with the current established information. We're really working towards hammering things out. I just need to keep track of it. WITH THAT SAID, what people can start doing is claiming IC positions, characters, and also claiming things to WRITE. Because I know someone out there really, really, desperately wants to write the rules and the plot out. You're all hopping at the chance to get at that.

So, if anyone has thought about these things, please tell the rest of us. We want to know. Post with:

1. Which characters, if any, you are bringing over from GS to GD. This would also be the place to check and see who is also being brought over, so you know which plots will carry over.

2. What color simourvs you are thinking about or want to play on the new site. We have the same color system, except that blacks are now prettier. I was thinking we could assume there was about 100 riders, so we could easily do up percentages. There are not a lot of us, really, so I think people can take what they want, with the exception of rainbows and grays, perhaps, and our percentages would be close.

3. If you want to play any nocturnals. This would be more so people would know, because there is theoretically a fairly large population of these, and since bondings happen more freely, the big nocturnals may be more saturated in the bonded population even though they have a smaller wild population.

4. What you are willing to do for the site. If you want to write any information out in particular. We are going to rewrite almost if not everything, so just start claiming stuffsssss.

I think that's it. If anyone else can think of things to claim, say something. I'll add it. OH and if you want to be really productive, we're going to need to think of some species and stuffs, too, of scary tropical things. Especially bugs and stuffs. If people can draw, and want to draw critters, do that, too, because images make things look pretty. Oh, and someone needs to think of some sort of specie (Species?) for those carnivorous trees. Those have to be explained.

ALSO, since there are villages and stuff instead of urban centers in the South, I was thinking that we could all create our own hometowns and then have a map which users can add towns and villages too as they create them for characters. Like some sort of village directory. Then people could use existing villages, but we could also have lots of little ones which are created. I don't know what to do with that. I guess I am saying people can make villages now if people wish.

That is all. I'll keep a list of characters and stuff on a post after this one.

Since I want to keep this list pretty even, if people could post their simourvs' color codes next to the names, then I can put those on the list and stuff. That is for old simourvs, of course. New ones won't have specific colors yet, unless people have been plotting a lot about them or already done images. (Which will need to be moved to new lineart anyway, when we have new lineart.)

Well, I guess what I am thinking about is pretty explicitly listed, but I thought I would post it here anyway.

I know I want a female southern simourv rider. I would like to play either one of the lesser gray riders, so like a junior phoenix, or a tawny rider. The character I am thinking about would work either way. I will pick depending on what other people want, really. I just need to balance my boys out with at least one uterus.

I also know for sure that I want to play a male rainbow not-simourv rider. I want him to have been trained as a guard, and to accidentally bond to a rainbow. So, I think he will probably just bum around the Eyrie, technically doing like, tactical, logistical work with the guard, and complain about how much his life sucks while secretly spoiling his rainbow. She's going to be adorable.

(Said rider is going to be the third son of a village leader, if anyone wants to play older or younger siblings!)

And I'm going to skin, then I'll write what needs to be written. I guess I'll set up the whole town thing, too, which shouldn't take long. (Because someone else is welcome to that map.)

I'm bringing Erunei; no simourv for her yet.

Southern characters... I've got ideas for two and possibly three characters, I'll work on those more and then edit this to include them. I don't think I'm aiming for any really significant spots; I'll probably talk to people to figure out what simourv they'd have anyway. Certainly no grays though one character might fit a rainbow; I can just tweak her a bit if those are all taken though.

I'll probably have one rider and one mini-simourv rider; if I make a third southern character I'm not sure which it will be. The mini-simourv rider would hopefully be in the postal-express thing; if not, I'm not sure where. Color isn't too important for the mini-simourv, but I think I'd aim for something mid-sized or larger, since I think the postal express would tend toward mostly those (Minimourv Express: the only place where grays are more common than rainbows! that'd be amusing).

As for what I can do, anything that isn't too technical. Writing especially I could do basically any/everything that no one else wants to. So just assume I can fill in whatever still needs to be done; if I get inspired and write anything up, I'll let everyone know, but at this point I'll just do whatever.


*edits* Oh, I forgot! I can definitely come up with insects/plants/animals for the southern continent. Can't draw them, sadly, but I can think of plenty of stuff. What about a tree that's similar to the Venus flytrap, in how it hunts anyway? The trunk could have periodic hollows and indents, and as soon as anything climbs far enough into one, something closes over the hollow and it's trapped and digestive stuff starts leaking in. Orrr, it has lotus-ish flowers (at least I'm imagining them that way) that do the same thing; the petals close on whatever lands on them.

Have a weak neural poison that in small doses can paralyze prey, and in larger doses can stop the heart. Ororor something similar to stick insects and leaf insects, only on a much larger scale.
